John Makamure

Executive Director

He is the founding Executive Director of SAPST. He is a dynamic professional who has wide experience in legislative strengthening, civic society strengthening, advocacy, economic and public policy analysis and research.

Israel Chilimanzi

Deputy Director / Programmes Manager

The Programmes Manager of SAPST is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects related to the Zimbabwe programme ensuring flawless team management and development, programme delivery, quality control and evaluation.

Martha Mashonganyika

Finance & Administration Manager

She is the Finance and Administration Manager of SAPST. Martha Mashonganyika joined SAPST in April 2011. She brings to SAPST 9 years of experience in the NGO Finance Sector.

Plaxedes Dhlamini

Programme Assistant: Procurement & Personnel Officer

As the Human Resources & Procurement Manager at SAPST, Plaxedes handles all Human Resources Management issues such as selection, recruitment and orientation of new staff members, drawing up contracts for Consultants and student Interns, conducts performance appraisals and handles grievances, discipline and ensures good employment relations among other duties.

Phillip Muziri

Program Advisor - Parliamentary Affairs

He is a Programme Advisor. He assists in the development and implementation of programmes for both the Zimbabwean and the regional programme. Phillip also undertakes legal research, analysis and technical support.

Henry Ndlovu

Programme Specialist Information & Communication

Henry Ndlovu joined SAPST in March 2010 as the Information and Communications Programme Advisor. The main objective of his brief is to strengthen the flow of information between Parliament, civic society and the general public.

Vivian Mashavave

Legal Officer

Vivian provides research and other legal support services to the organization, and advises on constitutional and legal issues. Vivian also manages the updating and improvement of key informational databases on legislative process, bills, statutory instruments and other relevant information for identifying trends and performance of Parliament, and issues of relevance to the parliamentary strengthening program.

Chengetai Kanyangu

Gender and Public Policy Specialist

Chengetai Madziwa Kanyangu joined SAPST in March 2015 as the Gender and Public Policy Specialist. The main objective of her brief is to ensure that gender is mainstreamed throughout the implementation of SAPST programmes. She holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe

Kudzai Muwishi

Monitoring & Evaluation Portfolio

Kudzai Muwishi is SAPST's Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. She is responsible for Monitoring and Evaluating all the organisation's programmes. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Rhodes University and an Executive Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation.

Tafadzwa Ndlovu

Programme Specialist Information & Communication

Tafadzwa Ndlovu joined SAPST in December 2016 as a Communication and Information Specialist. She has experience spanning to over 5 years in the print and broadcast media. She is a holder of a degree in Media and Society Studies from the Midlands State University.

Owen Ruwona

Finance Specialist

Owen Ruwona joined SAPST in January 2013 as a Finance Specialist. His main duties at SAPST include the management of project grants through preparation of Budgets and financial reports to donors and management.

Letwin Chikwani

Finance Officer

Letwin's duties include processing of all SAPST payments, ensuring that all expenses are within assigned project budget and conducting periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve variances.

Fortunate Majere

Logistics Coordinator

Fortunate Majere joined SAPST at the inception of the programme in 2007 as the Logistics Coordinator and Transport Manager. His main duties at SAPST include provision of transport logistics to project staff on project related business within and outside Zimbabwe.

Rangarirayi Mago

Office Orderly

Rangarirayi Mago joined SAPST at inception as Office Orderly. He is responsible for the day to day office errands.
